This annual event attracts senior level management of natural resources professionals in the fields of wildlife and fisheries management, information and education, licensing and administration, law enforcement, and conservation engineering. The Midwest Association includes the states of Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, and the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

The 17 states and provinces that make up our Association encompass some of the greatest diversity in lands, waters, and wildlife in North America. Despite this variety, our individual agencies face many of the same challenges. For the last three quarters of a century, the Midwest Association has provided a forum for us to jointly tackle these issues and develop effective regional solutions. Working together, we’ve been able to strike a balance between each state’s independence and the need to develop common regional approaches, with great success for our fish and wildlife resources and the public who has entrusted those resources to our care.
