Affiliates

The following organizations are official affiliate members of MAFWA. Affiliate membership may be granted in MAFWA based upon demonstration that the constitution and bylaws of said organizations meet the basic standards of the Association. Application for affiliate membership should be sent to the MAFWA Executive Secretary at least 90 days prior to a regular meeting of the Association and should include the current constitution and bylaws and a letter stating the organization's justification for affiliate membership. Affiliate membership shall be voted on by the MAFWA Board of Directors and must attain a majority vote of a quorum. Affiliate membership dues are $75 per year.

Pheasants Forever - Pheasants Forever (PF) is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of pheasant and other wildlife populations in North America. |

National Shooting Sports Fnd. - Our purpose is to provide trusted leadership in addressing industry challenges and delivering programs and services to meet the identified needs of our members by measurably advancing participation in and understanding of the hunting and shooting sports. |

American Sportfishing Assn. - The American Sportfishing Association is the sportfishing industry’s trade association. We safeguard and promote the enduring social, economic, and conservation values of sportfishing in America. |

MICRA
- MICRA is an organization of 28 state natural resource departments organized
in 1991 as a partnership to improve inter jurisdictional river resource
management in the Mississippi River Basin. |

Ducks Unlimited - Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people. |

Izaak Walton League of America - To conserve, maintain, protect and restore the soil, forest, water and other natural resources of the United States and other lands; to promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to such resources and their enjoyment and wholesome utilization. |

Nat. Wild Turkey Federation - The NWTF is a half million member grassroots, nonprofit organization with members in 50 states, Canada and 11 other foreign countries. It supports scientific wildlife management on public, private and corporate lands as well as wild turkey hunting as a traditional North American sport. |

The Archery Trade Association - Formerly the Archery Manufacturers and Merchants Organization (AMO) - provides the core funding and direction for two new foundations critical to the future of archery and bowhunting: ArrowSport and the Bowhunting Preservation Alliance (BPA). In addition, the ATA continues to direct the industry's annual archery and bowhunting trade show. |

NASP - The National Archery in the Schools Program is a joint venture between state departments of Education and Wildlife. Several archery equipment manufacturers and organizations are also partners. The program promotes student education, physical education and participation in the life long sport of Archery. The program’s focus is to provide International Style Target Archery training in physical education classes grades 4 - 12 |
