Iowa is the proud host of the 92nd Annual Midwest Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies (MAFWA) Director’s Meeting, Sunday, June 21st – Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 at Lake Okoboji Resort & Conference Center in Okoboji, Iowa.


This annual event attracts senior-level professionals in wildlife and fisheries management, information and education, licensing and administration, law enforcement and conservation. The conference typically offers educational sessions and updates on current issues in the field and pertinent topics to the agencies, as well as social networking events. The Midwest Association includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, and the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.
